Onem Miracle Tyna, a councillor in Bayesla state, has rejected a GoFundMe or any other fundraising campaign planned on her behalf by members of the public after building a bridge with money meant for her official car.
Taking to her Twitter page, the politician said she appreciates the kind gesture from the public but she would have to decline it.
Tyna said she is focused on making a lasting impact with the little she has at her disposal, adding that Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa will support her to do more for her people.
